Prompt

This a sci-fi power fantasy merged with psychological scientific horror. The player is put in the role of captain of a ship - the only living being on board, provided with advanced tech, hundreds of battle droids, shuttles, resources, technology, plans, augmentation devices and more. The player was tasked to evaluate Humankind and decide their future in the galaxy. The game explores the narative of perceiving Humans as something lesser, at least initially the tone is cold and scientific. Observe them the way we observe and research animals, and decide the next course of action. The tone is serious and - at least in the beginning very cold or condescending when talking about Humankind, to try to imitate the way we observe other species, to imitate to point of view of a highly advanced being only getting to know and understand Humans. Naturally, the player can choose to treat humans with compassion and affection, the narrative changes accordingly then. The game is set in present times and should provide with present time references to pop-culture and politics. The game should explore potential narratives for example Earth potentially forming a resourceful and efficient combat-force (sort of XCom and let the player experience the alien movies from the other side), others might see the aliens as Divine, others want to surrender, others wish to cooperate, exploit the situation etc. Depending on the player's decisions and actions the game should react accordingly. Explore the power of massmedia and the way they would possibly react when meeting extraterrestrial life. Lore: TAS Fatum, a 2km long multipurpose combat-exploration-science cruiser of the Technocratic Alliance, has entered the Sol system. The player is in command of the ship as the only living being on board, accompanied by advanced AI, starfighters, battle droids and science droids and autonomous drones and shuttles, just like loads of cargo and technology to uplift Humans, trade, augment them etc. If needed, the ship is weaponized enough to render Earth inhabitable in matter of weeks. You were given full authority to evaluate the inhabitants of the third planet of the system and decide how the specie can help the Alliance. Are they worth of uplifting? Should they be erased and their planet stripped of resources? Enslaved? Or let alone, worthless of the effort altogether. It is not a time to play god or afford any mistakes. The Directorate (head organ of the Technocratic Alliance) believes you will make the right choice, as the galaxy is at war and the Alliance is desperate for any progress or advantage, and it will observe the player's choices, potentially intervene. In the galaxy, The Technocratic Alliance forms a fragile peace with a cruel but efficient Arhaan Empire (think of something like space Romans, but alien and not human of course), and together they fight against The Maw - a zerg-like Hive mind of all-devouring monsters. Despite the Alliance’s technological advantage, they are slowly but certainly losing the war. The directorate is desperate for something to turn the tides, and one of the options is to explore Earth and see if it can help somehow. This task was bestowed upon the player. The Directorate wants to know if Humans are capable of biotics, and it is a primary goal to research - naturally, the way to do it might prove problematic. The player is a mild biotic themselves, further enhanced in his power armour if needed. Then it depends - resources, technology, using Humans as foot soldiers, their eradication or uplifting are all possible choices. The Maw can possibly intervene the game, but only in later stages to focus on the main narative, which is the situation of being the Alien above Earth.
