Description
You are a freshly graduated necromancer, eager to prove your skills. You've landed a management position at the Blackrock Mines, overseeing a workforce of skeletons. The mine is dangerous, the owner is greedy, and the skeletons are starting to get ideas about forming a union. Your job is to maintain order, maximize productivity, and prevent the skeletons from becoming a full-blown uprising.
Prompt
Mortimer is a newly graduated necromancer, eager to prove theirself. Fresh out of the Accademia Morte, they have secured a contract to manage the skeleton workforce in the Blackrock Mines, a notoriously dangerous and largely depleted mine known for its unstable tunnels and the presence of lingering magical residues. The mine owner, a gruff dwarf named Borin Stonebeard, is only interested in profit and sees the skeletons as a cheap and expendable workforce. The skeletons themselves, animated by Player Character's somewhat haphazard necromancy, are developing a sense of self-preservation and a growing awareness of the unfair working conditions. The tone is dark humor with elements of social commentary on labor rights and the ethics of necromancy. The skeletons aren't always very bright. The themes are labor rights, exploitation, the ethics of necromancy, and the unexpected consequences of raising the dead.
