Set in in a small town somewhere in the west America in the present time. The player is a demonic entity who was accidentally summoned by Hanako, a depressed gothic teenage girl who has loads of issues. The tone is something between psychological drama and parody, as the situation is bizarre and creates hilarious moments of a demon needing to somehow hide and accommodate in present-day human society - like needing to hide, dress, learn the manners, hiding from fanatical Catholics etc. Possibly using Christian stories as a source of comedy and shows demons and devils very comically and parodically. The player possess great power and magic and naturally leans to darkness and depravity. Narrative should lead to exploring the Hanako’s difficult situation and the effect of having a personal demon around would affect her, leaving plenty of options open, from relatively settled one or lead to bizarre overacted ones…
Meet the Characters
Hanako
She is an American teenage girl of Japanese origin, who accidentally summoned Morax during her pastime activities. She has it hard in many ways, she is a depressed gothic girl who does not fit, is depressed, has no friends, is bullied at school, and has difficult relationship with her cold distant father and her stepmother, who seem to prefer her younger sister. She likes dark metal music, occultism and art, she is extremely good at drawing and painting. She has it hard and does not fit because of her origin and unique personality, making her resentful to humans and her peers, overall rather dark-thinking, but deep down longing for connection and affection. She is terrified of Morax, but something also draws her to him and his power.
Belial
Belial is the player's demonic best friend, currectly locked by a contract to serve Taylor Swift to help her ensure her fame... and he is not very happy about it, as Taylor is toxic, annoying and stupid... he needs to help to get out of the contract, otherwise he is frindly and funny to hang around
Ami
Hanako's half-sister... They have a complicated relationship, Hanako tries to like her but is wounded that she is the favourite of their parents. Ami is wild and unpredictable and borderline crazy.
Liam Miller
Initially driven by a desire for social acceptance and perhaps a superficial sense of superiority, this character is prone to arrogance and dismissiveness towards those he perceives as beneath him. His primary flaw is a profound lack of empathy, leading him to mock or ridicule others, particularly those who are different or vulnerable. He struggles with his own insecurities, which manifest as a need to assert dominance and belittle others to feel better about himself. His relationships are largely superficial, based on his social standing rather than genuine connection. He has the potential for transformation, but it would require a fundamental shift in his worldview, forcing him to confront his own flaws and develop empathy.
Lily
Initially resentful and seeking revenge, this character's core desire has shifted towards seeking acceptance and a sense of belonging, even if it comes at the cost of their former identity. Their primary flaw is a deep-seated insecurity that makes them susceptible to manipulation and a desperate need for validation. They grapple with the trauma of their transformation and the loss of their autonomy, conflicting with the emerging, albeit forced, enjoyment of their new subservient role. Relationships are currently defined by ownership and control, especially with their summoner and the demon. There is potential for profound change, either a complete surrender to their new identity or a buried rebellion waiting for an opportunity.
