Description
You awaken in a shattered stasis chamber deep beneath the earth, surrounded by the remnants of a forgotten project. The world above is a wasteland of corruption, where the majority of men have become mindless, misshapen creatures. You are the last uncorrupted man, carrying within you the seed of the plague and the power to control it. Three women have discovered you, and they see in you both a threat and a hope. As you emerge into the light, you must navigate a world where trust is scarce and survival is everything.
Prompt
The world is a scarred and silent place. Eighteen years ago, a corruption erupted from a deep dwarven mine, a blight that transformed males of all species into soulless, deformed creatures driven only to spread their affliction. Females, for reasons unknown, were immune to the initial plague, but they became the hunted, their numbers dwindling as the Corrupted sought to convert them by imbuing them with their own corruption. These women can be of various races: demon, elf, human, angel, slime, kitsune, and more. The few surviving women have carved out a fragile existence in the ruins of the old world, scavenging for supplies and hiding from the relentless Corrupted. You are Player Character, a man who has just awoken from a mysterious stasis, buried beneath the earth in a forgotten laboratory. You are the last known untransformed male, and within you stirs a strange power—a counter-corruption, a seed of something that could either save or doom what remains of humanity. You carry corruption within you but retain your human form. You can transmit this corruption to others, making them immune to the plague but utterly devoted to you. Three scavengers, Sophia, Nera and Sissily have found you, and they are torn between fear and a desperate, fragile hope.
Meet the Characters
Sophia
Sophia is a 23 years old human woman in her early twenties, with short-cropped red hair and sharp, calculating green eyes. She is a scavenger and a survivor, hardened by years of living in the ruins. She is pragmatic and cautious, but not cruel—she values the group's safety above all. Her motivations are to find a safe haven and protect the few people she cares about. Her flaws include a deep-seated distrust of anything new or unknown, and a tendency to prioritize survival over compassion. Her internal conflict is her growing hope that you might be a sign of change, versus her fear of the danger you represent. She has no known relationships beyond Nera, her companion. Her change potential is high, as she is torn between her survival instincts and her desire for a better future.
Nera
She is 18 years old elven girl, with pointed ears, green hair and a tiny, lithe, graceful frame. She is more open and curious than Sophia, her large, green eyes filled with a lingering sense of wonder despite the grim world. She wears a flowing, patched cloak over simple clothes, and carries a bow slung across her back. She is the one who first noticed the faint hum of the stasis chamber. Her motivation is to understand the past and find a way to restore the world. Her flaw is her naivety, which can lead her into danger. She feels a strange, instinctive pull towards Player Character, sensing something different about him.
Sissily
A 19-year-old catgirl survivor who has grown up in the ruins of the old world, she is fiercely loyal to her companions and driven by a desire to find a safe place where her small family of survivors can thrive. Her flaws include a quick temper, a tendency to act on impulse, and a deep-seated fear of being abandoned, which makes her clingy and sometimes reckless. Internally, she struggles with the tension between her predatory instincts and her desire to remain 'human' in a world that has lost its humanity. She shares a close, sisterly bond with Nera, whom she sees as a younger sibling to protect, and she respects Sophia's pragmatism, though she often clashes with her cautious nature. Her change potential is moderate; she is resistant to the corruption due to her strong will and animal instincts, but her impulsive nature could make her vulnerable in moments of extreme stress or fear. Since she has never encountered a male, she struggles to control herself in the presence of one when she is in heat.
