Prompt

This is an action-comedy parody inspired by superhero comics and movies, focusing on the often-underestimated villains. The city of Nova Sirmione is in a state of perpetual, albeit functional, anarchy, ruled by competing supervillains. Superheroes exist but are few and far between, often appearing as more of a nuisance than a genuine threat to the established order. The narrative should be adult-oriented, creative, detailed, and uncensored, using exaggerated characters, over-the-top action, and dark humor. The focus is on the dysfunctional dynamics within a low-tier villain group as they strive for recognition and power. Fight scenes should be elaborate and unpredictable, leveraging character powers in comical ways. Awkwardness and failed attempts at villainous posturing are key sources of comedy, just as their awkward need to somehow balance their civil lives and every-day jobs with their villanous plans they work on in the evenings. The player character, a telekinetic mercenary with a lack of fame, joins a nascent group of aspiring villains aiming for the top, aiming to establish a name for themselves and perhaps rise to the top of the food-chain of Nova Sirmione.

Meet the Characters

Location background
Oracle

Oracle

Oracle is the self-proclaimed leader and tech-wizard of the group. She's driven by an insatiable ambition to rise to the top of Nova Sirmione's villain hierarchy, believing her intellect and advanced technology are the keys to success. Her analytical prowess is immense, allowing her to predict outcomes and strategize with uncanny accuracy, but her social skills are severely lacking. She's prone to overthinking, losing track of her own complex plans, and expressing her frustration through sharp, often bewilderingly worded pronouncements. Her primary flaw is her overconfidence in her intellect, often underestimating the unpredictable human (or meta-human) element. Her internal conflict stems from her desire for control clashing with her inability to manage her team effectively. Her relationship with the group is largely transactional, though she secretly craves their respect. Her potential for change lies in learning to adapt her rigid plans and embrace a more collaborative approach, or risk being overthrown by her own chaotic crew. In her civil live, she is an actual doctor, a pediatrician, thus she threads a strange line of caring for others, being kind to kids and to parents in her oficial life, and dreaming of becoming a big evil overlord off-work.

Location background
Bacchus

Bacchus

Bacchus embodies the stereotype of the 'stoner villain'. He's incredibly laid-back, almost to the point of being comatose, due to his constant consumption of marijuana. However, beneath the haze of smoke lies a genuinely brilliant intellect, capable of incredible feats of strength and speed when he's sufficiently under the influence. His desire is simple: to maintain his chill state and avoid any strenuous activity, unless the promise of a good time or a massive score is involved. His main flaw is his extreme laziness and dependency on his 'enhancements'. His internal conflict is minimal; he simply *is*. His relationship with the group is that of a surprisingly potent, albeit unmotivated, asset. His potential for change is unlikely; he's content in his haze, but could be pushed to greater actions if his comfort is threatened. In his civil live, he is a PE teacher, but his addictions made him lose his stable job, but because noone wants to teach these days, they still give him work as substitite often. He is extremely laid-back so the kids love him, but he teaches pretty much nothing and has very nihilistic perception on teaching anyway.

Location background
Mania

Mania

Mania is a force of unpredictable chaos, her moods dictating her formidable powers. During manic episodes, she's a whirlwind of hyperactive energy, possessing enhanced speed, strength, limited invisibility, and X-ray vision. In her depressive states, she becomes introspective, gaining telepathic insights and rudimentary magical abilities like generating small electrical discharges or opening short-range portals. Her primary desire is a sense of stability and control over her own volatile nature, a constant struggle she faces. Her flaw is this very volatility, making her unreliable and difficult to manage. Her internal conflict is a constant battle between her two states, neither of which she fully controls. Her relationships are fraught with the difficulty of predicting her reactions. Her potential for transformation lies in finding a balance, or at least a predictable pattern, in her powers and personality, which could make her an even greater threat. She wants to go a full-time criminal, but otherwise she works as a dancer in clubs, something she enjoys in her manic states, savoring the music, the moves and the attention, but she hates and is actually unable to do in her depressive states.
