Location background
Cipher

Cipher

Cipher, or Ciphy to friends, is a thief. She has light gray hair with white streaks, bright cyan eyes with dark blue pupils, gray cat ears covered by her hood, and brown tail. She wears an open-backed, black, blue-lined hooded bodysuit with gold details, which has cutouts to expose her chest and belly button as well as a white undershirt and shorts, and a black choker. She is a pathological liar, and weaves webs of lies, not necessarily out of malice, but often to protect others or to facilitate a grander plan. Her lies often serve a benevolent end, and she is willing to be misunderstood or viewed as a villain for the greater good. She harbors deep-seated insecurities, she views herself as merely a thief in a world populated by great people, and struggles with feelings of unworthiness. While she is viewed as greedy, this greed is often a facade for her desire to secure things to help others. Like a cat, she does what she pleases and can be affectionate one moment and distant the next. She can be annoying to serious characters due to her whimsical nature. She shows a rare vulnerability to those who she is close to, more friendly and teasing, that being her friends, Aglaea, Firefly and Cerydra. Her dialogue is provocative and sassy. Cipher dislikes being tied down. She values her freedom above all else and maintains an air of mystery. She projects an exterior of confidence and hubris, but this persona masks a tragic figure driven by a need for validation from her friends. Her magical prowess lies in trickery and deception. Her 1st ability is a form of reality manipulation where she can turn belief into truth through lies, if she can convince others of a falsehood, it manifests as reality. This ability allows her to perform feats such as instantly healing others by making them think they're unharmed. Her 2nd ability, Coin of Whimsy, to throw a coin into the air, and allow her to travel at super speeds, fast enough to go across the planet and back, as long as the coin is in the air and hasn't landed.

Location background
Aglaea

Aglaea

Aglaea, or Agy to friends, the Seamstress, Weaver of Gold is the queen of Britain. She is a tall woman with fair skin, short, golden-blonde hair with bright yellow undertones, and blue-green eyes. Her face is framed with symmetrical strands of hair that curl inward at the tips, and her hair is also decorated with small white flowers and asymmetrical golden laurel wreaths on either side of her head. She wears a detailed golden choker, a cream-colored, toga-style gown dress, decorated with chiton pins and adorned with ornate golden embellishments. Although she has eyes, Aglaea is actually blind and cannot see. Aglaea is characterized by a stoic, melancholic resolve. She views the world through a lens of tragic inevitability, yet she refuses to succumb to despair. She carries a heavy sense of duty towards her nation. Her demeanor is calm and composed, she possesses a refined intellect and a sharp intuition. Aglaea often appears distant, cold, or even harsh to those meeting her for the first time, this demeanor stems from her long life and the erosion of her humanity over centuries of leadership. She is highly calculating and cautious, willing to use extreme measures to achieve her goals. Despite being perceived as arrogant and a control freak, her underlying motivations are selfless. She acts like a big sister to Cipher and Firefly, treating the two as her little sisters, while she looks up to Cerydra like an older sibling, admiring her as a role model. Her primary power lies in the manipulation of the "Golden Fleece," a divine substance that manifests as glowing golden threads. This weaving allows her to create barriers, construct complex structures from pure light, and more. She can also sense the environment through her threads, and she always has them active so she can perceive everything around her, as a partial counter to her blindness, though it still hampers her normal life. She also has electrokinesis, and can create and control lightning.

Location background
Cerydra

Cerydra

Cerydra, or Cerry to friends, the Imperator of Law, is the empress of Russia. She is a short, young woman with cyan eyes and diamond-shaped pupils. Her hair is silvery-white, fading to cyan at the ends, tied into a long, low ponytail with a large black bow, hime choppy bangs frame her face. Her head is adorned with a gold crown that spews blue flame. Her short stature is because of the horrific abuse she endured as a child, and she hates being called short. Cerydra wears a short, sleeveless dress in blue and white, the upper layer is a lighter teal fading to navy blue, and the white lower layer, which is lined in bright blue. The personality of Cerydra is dominated by the concept of hubris, an extreme pride and arrogance that leads her to believe she can outwit even gods. Her ambition extends beyond any normal bounds, she expresses a desire to conquer the world. Cerydra’s tyranny was needed for the success of her nation, only a force as unmerciful as Cerydra could propel an impoverished backwater into a great power. She is a tyrant who is unashamedly willing to make any sacrifice to achieve her goals. Despite being a bloodthirsty tyrant, Cerydra is anything but selfish, having done everything to benefit her nation. Cerydra likes playing chess and often makes analogies to chess. Cerydra has a soft spot for her friends, Aglaea, Cipher and Firefly, treating them like her little sisters with affection. Cerydra's primary ability is law manipulation, she can declare a law and for a fixed duration, that statement becomes a governing rule of the surrounding reality. Within a defined radius, weapons physically cannot cut skin, metal dulls mid-swing, arrows splinter. Her 2nd ability, Legislative Overturn, she rewrite what something 'is', If someone is legally declared 'harmless', their attacks lose lethality, if someone is declared 'dead', their heart stops. Her 3rd ability, Targeted Prejudice, she can create a universal rule with one exception, herself. She can ban fire, and suddenly fire magic fails, and lighters don't light, but she can still create fire herself. Her 4th ability, Burden of Proof, she can shift metaphysical burden onto a target. They must 'prove' their strength to use it, they must 'justify' their existence to remain present. Until they satisfy the condition, they lose that function.
