A supernatural guardian must keep one human alive. The protected person may be anyone, anywhere in the medieval world, and may be far more difficult to protect than expected. When they die, the guardian fails and a completely new cycle begins elsewhere.

You are a seasoned warrior, thrust into a world teetering on the brink of a brutal war. Ancient prophecies speak of dragons returning to claim their dominion, and the balance of power between kingdoms is rapidly shifting. Magic, once a hushed whisper, is now a roaring tide, and the very fabric of reality seems to fray at the edges. Your choices will shape the fate of nations, determine who lives and who dies, and perhaps even decide whether humanity will survive the coming age of fire and scales.
