Deserted and empty. An isolated, colossal irrigation system, built from weathered brass and riveted steel, snakes across a sun-baked, arid plain. Giant gears grind slowly, lifting water from a subterranean aquifer to irrigate sparse, hardy crops. Dust devils dance in the distance, reflecting the harsh, golden light of a perpetually setting sun. The atmosphere is one of immense, enduring labor and stark, functional grandeur.
